Birthday Cake Cookies
I know…..Here I go again with cookies. Sorry
But these are so fun and good. Plus my daughter helped me make these 100%. She never helps 100% (unless it is tasting).
Ill make this one quick and pain less.
First step, pre-heat oven to 375.
Start by making a basic sugar cookie dough (with some slight modifications).
Pop in oven for 10-12 min and there you have it. Quick, simple, painless and super cute.

Those are such fun cookies. Anything with sprinkles brightens my day.
Oh my goodness I would have loved these when I was younger! I love rainbow sprinkles, especially when they are in cookies and cakes and ice cream haha
Never apologize about more cookies
These look like so much fun! Even funner when little ones get involved. Messier but funner!
yes, so very mess.
They do make everything a bit more exciting don’t they
My daughter would love this.
they look so colorful and perfect for a B-day!
This sounds like so much fun! Do I have to wait until my birthday to make them???
absolutely not
Yum, I love cake mix anything!
They look fantastic! And having a helper is always fun!
There is always room for more cookies.
I love the sprinkles.
Oooh, the yellow cake mix addition is interesting! That probably jazzed up the cookie a little bit! Thanks for sharing the twist
I’m glad your daughter was able to help you. I thought my 4 year-old cousin was going to help me but once he tried to plop the butter out of its wrapper into the bowl, he was done. “Oh no! This is dirty! I can’t be dirty. Mommy doesn’t like me to get dirty.” And there he went to watch SpongeBob as I made sugar cookies. Grr.
Sounds just like my son.
He love the eating part but not so much the cooking part.
I want to make these so much….but I only have 1 cup of butter. Ah! What do I do?
You could try to still make them with the 1 cup. Just cut your flour back and sugar back by 1/2 a cup. Give it a try…let me know. Hopefully they still turn out fantastic.
I found another stick, But…they didn’t turn out at all :/ it seemed like there was way too much butter, the cookies were really spready and thin. Wonder what I did wrong.
